Ricky Cheath - Co-Owner and CFO

Before there was success, there was survival.

I am a first-generation Cambodian refugee. My story didn’t begin with privilege or access—it began in the shadow of a civil war where more than two million Cambodians were slaughtered by the Khmer Rouge regime. My family and I narrowly escaped. We moved at night through fields of landmines, slept during the day, and hid in silence to avoid enemy patrols. Survival wasn’t a concept—it was the only objective.

I witnessed resilience before I ever understood the word. And long before opportunity showed up, I learned how to prepare for it.

Nothing about my journey was handed to me.
I am self-made—shaped by pressure, sharpened by adversity, and forged through moments that demanded I shed who I was in order to survive who I was becoming.

That truth became the soul of my book, Shed Your Skin - The Uncomfortable Beauty of Growth. By Ricky Cheath.

Today, I serve as a motivational speaker, author, mentor, Senior Executive in mortgage banking, and executive board member of a nonprofit organization—but titles were never the goal. Impact was. Elevation was. Becoming the example I once searched for was.

At the center of everything I do is family.

I’m married to my beautiful wife, Patty, and together we’re raising three incredible children—Kai, Bailey, and Xander. They are my why. They remind me daily that legacy isn’t built through words alone, but through consistency, character, and how you show up when it matters most.

That same pursuit of legacy is what aligned Jordan and me.

As founding partners of Be The Club, we didn’t come together to create another apparel brand. We came together to build a symbol. Jordan brings vision, precision, and uncompromising craftsmanship. I bring mindset, leadership, and the belief that standards define identity. Together, we’re building something intentional—rooted in discipline, confidence, and belonging that doesn’t ask for approval.

Be The Club is for those who’ve been tested. For those who understand that confidence is quiet, excellence is earned, and preparation happens long before the moment arrives.
For the builders, the leaders, the ones still climbing—who know exactly what it took to get here.

This brand is a reflection of the journey.
Of the scars no one sees.
Of the evolution that happens when you refuse to stay the same.

You don’t wear Be The Club to feel included.

You wear it because you’ve already survived the climb—
and you’re still rising.

Welcome to the standard.
